The professionalization of calligraphy has brought about the operability of calligraphy, making the learning and creation of calligraphy a lifelong pursuit for many people. This situation undoubtedly has more advantages than disadvantages for the openness and prosperity of calligraphy, which cannot be separated from the tireless pursuit of calligraphy art by many responsible calligraphers. Tang Xiaoyan, who works in the literary and artistic creation room of the Political Department of the Nanjing Military Region, is one of the outstanding ones.
Tang Xiaoyan, a member of the China Book Association and a director of the Jiangsu Book Association, is a full-time creative staff member in the military literary and artistic creation room. Although she is a young calligrapher born in the 1980s, she has achieved many accomplishments. I have won more than 20 awards in various calligraphy exhibitions organized by the China Book Association alone, and have won multiple awards in numerous exhibitions organized by the China Book Association and the General Political Department. She was selected into the elite class of Shen Peng Calligraphy Studio at the Chinese National Academy of Painting, becoming one of the youngest members.
